သုံးလုံးတြဲ စကားလုံးေလးေတြကလည္း က်ေနာ္တို႔ ေတြ႕ေနျမင္ေနက် စကားလုံး လြယ္လြယ္ေလးေတြနဲ႔ ေပါင္းစပ္ထားၾကတာပါ ၊ ဒါေပမယ္႔ အဓိပၸါယ္ ေတြကေတာ႔ က်ယ္၀န္းလာပါတယ္ ၊ သုံးရတာလည္း အခက္ၾကီးေတြေတာ႔ မဟုတ္ပါဘူး ၊ ဘာသာရပ္ဆိုင္ရာ ဆရာေတြကေတာ႔ ဒီစကားလုံးေလးေတြဟာ ေပးတဲ႔ အဓိပၸါယ္ရဲ႕ သဘာ၀ကို ပိုျပီး ေပၚလြင္ေစတယ္လို႕ ေျပာၾကပါတယ္ ..

သူက ၊ သူမရွိတဲ႕အခုိက္မွာ အိမ္ကို ပစ္ျပီး အျပင္ကိုထြက္မသြားဖို႕ သူမကို ျပတ္ျပတ္သားသား ေျပာတယ္ ။

ကိုရီးယားမွာ ကားေမာင္းဖို႕ရာ ေဆာင္ရန္ေရွာင္ရန္ စည္းကမ္းခ်က္ေတြ အမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳး ရွိတယ္ ။

2) haves and have nots = ပိုက္ဆံရွိတဲ႕သူေတြနဲ႕ မရွိတဲ႕သူေတြ
"In Myanmar you can find the haves and have nots of the population."
ျမန္မာမွာ ပိုက္ဆံရွိတဲ႕သူေတြနဲ႕ မရွိတဲ႕သူေတြကို ေတြ႕နိုင္တယ္ ။

3) ins and outs = အေသးစိတ္ အခ်က္အလက္မ်ား
"I don't know the ins and outs of the situation, so I can't really advise you."
အျဖစ္အပ်က္ရဲ႕ အေသးစိတ္အခ်က္အလက္ေတြကို က်ေနာ္မသိပါဘူး ၊ ဒါေၾကာင္႕ က်ေနာ္ အၾကံမေပးနိုင္ပါဘူး ။

4) odds and ends = အမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးေသာ အတိုအစေလးေတြ
"She made a dish with the odds and ends she found in the fridge."
သူက ေရခဲ ေသတၱာထဲမွာ ေတြ႕တဲ႔ အတိုအစေလးေတြ နဲ႔ ဟင္းလ်ာတစ္ခြက္ လုပ္လိုက္တယ္ ။

5) P's and Q's = ယဥ္ေက်းဖြယ္ရာ အျပဳအမူေလးေတြ ၊ အေျပာအဆိုေလးေတြ

မင္းသူတို႔ဆီကို အလည္သြားတဲ႔ အခါ ယဥ္ေက်းဖြယ္ရာ အျပဳအမူေလးေတြကို ဂရုစိုက္ပါ (သတိထားပါ ) ။

6) pros and cons = ေကာင္းခ်က္နဲ႔ ဆိုးကြက္ေတြ ၊ အက်ိဳးနဲ႔ အျပစ္

ေကာင္းကြက္နဲ႔ ဆိုးကြက္ေတြ နဲနဲစီ ရွိတဲ႔အတြက္ေၾကာင္႔ ကားသစ္တစ္စီး မ၀ယ္ခင္မွာ က်ေနာ္တို႔ စဥ္းစားသင္႔တယ္ ။

7) rights and wrongs = အမွားေတြ အမွန္ေတြ ၊
"Regardless of the rights and wrongs of company policy, you need to give a month's notice."
ကုမၸဏီရဲ႕ ေပၚလစီ ( မူ၀ါဒ ) အမွန္ေတြ အမွားေတြ ထည္႕တြက္မေနပဲနဲ႕ တစ္လၾကိဳတင္ျပီး သတိေပးခ်က္ထုတ္ဖို႔လိုအပ္တယ္ ။

8) tried and tested = ေကာင္းေကာင္း စမ္းထားၾကည္႕ျပီးတဲ႔ ၊ စိတ္ခ်ရတဲ႔
ဆားကို သုံးျခင္းဟာ ေကာ္ေဇာမွာစြန္းေနတဲ႔ ၀ိုင္အနီေတြကို ခြ်တ္တဲ႔ ေကာင္းေကာင္း စမ္းသပ္ထားျပီးသား နည္းလမ္းတစ္ခုပါ ။

9) ups and downs = အတက္အက်ေတြ ၊ ဘ၀မွာ ေကာင္းတဲ႔အခ်ိန္ေတြနဲ႔ ဆိုးတဲ႔အခ်ိန္ေတြ
"They have a lot of ups and downs in their relationship."
သူတို႔ရဲ႕ ဆက္ဆံေရးမွာ အတက္အက်ေတြ အမ်ားၾကီး ရွိခဲ႔တယ္ ။
Life is full of ups and downs.
ဘ၀ဆိုတာ အတက္ေတြ အက်ေတြနဲ႔ ျပည္႕ေနတယ္ ။

10) come and go = ေနရာတစ္ခုကို လြပ္လြပ္လပ္လပ္ သြားဖို႔လာဖို႔ ခြင္႔ျပဳတယ္

ခင္ဗ်ား စိတ္ေက်နပ္သလို လြပ္လြပ္ လပ္လပ္ လာခ်င္လာ ၊ သြားခ်င္သြား လုပ္ပါ (လုပ္နိုင္ပါတယ္) ။

11) cat and mouse = တစ္စုံတစ္ခုကို ေၾကာင္နဲ႔ၾကြက္ ကစားသလို ကစားတယ္ ၊ ထင္သလိုျခယ္လွယ္လုပ္ကိုင္ေနတယ္ ၊

သူမက က်ေနာ္႔ကို ေၾကာင္က ၾကြက္ကို ကစားသလုိ လုပ္ေနတယ္ ။

12) by and large = ေယဘူယ်အားျဖင္႔
"By and large, our customers prefer good service to low prices."
ေယဘူယ်အားျဖင္႔ေတာ႔ က်ေနာ္တို႔ ေဖါက္သည္ေတြက ေစ်းႏွဳန္းနိမ္႔တာထက္ ၀န္ေဆာင္မွဳ ပိုေကာင္းတာကို ႏွစ္ျခိဳက္ ၾကတယ္ ။

13) flesh and blood = အေသြးအသား ၊ မိသားစု၀င္ ၊ ေဆြမ်ိဳးရင္းခ်ာ
own flesh and blood လည္းသုံးပါတယ္
"I have to help him if I can – he's my flesh and blood."
က်ေနာ္ကူညီနိင္လ်င္ သူ႔ကို ကူညီရမယ္ ၊ သူက က်ေနာ္႔ရဲ႕ ေဆြမ်ိဳးရင္းခ်ာေလ ။

က်ေနာ္သူ႔ကို အေ၀း မပို႔နိုင္ဘူး ၊ သူက က်ေနာ္ရဲ႕ ေသြးသားရင္းခ်ာပါ ။

14) down and out = ပိုက္ဆံမရွိလုိ႔ လမ္းေပၚမွာပဲ ေနရသူ
"There are too many young down and outs in Yangon."
ပိုက္ဆံမရွိလို႔ လမ္းေပၚမွာပဲ ေနၾကရတဲ႔ လူငယ္ေလးေတြ ရန္ကုန္မွာ အမ်ားၾကီးပဲ ။

15) Dead and buried = ေသဆုံးျမွဳပ္နွံလိုက္ျပီ ၊ ျပီးဆုံးသြားလို႔ ျပန္မေပၚလာနိုင္ေတာ႔တဲ႔ အရာ
My dreams are all dead and buried .
က်ေနာ္႔ အိပ္မက္ေတြ အားလုံး ျပီးဆုံးေပ်ာက္ကြယ္သြားပါျပီ ။

16) Spick and span = သိပ္ကို သန္႔ရွင္းသပ္ရပ္တယ္
"Her house is spick and span at all times."
သူ႔ရဲ႕ အိမ္က အခ်ိန္တိုင္းပဲ သန္႔ရွင္းသပ္ရပ္ေနတယ္ ။

17) To and fro = အသြားအျပန္ ၊ သြားလိုက္ျပန္လိုက္
( To and from လည္းသုံးနိုင္သလို ၊ back and forth လည္းသုံးနိုင္ပါတယ္ )
"I'm exhausted – I've been going to and fro all week!"
တစ္ပတ္လုံးသြားလိုက္ျပန္လိုက္ လုပ္ေနရလို႔ က်ေနာ္ေမာရတယ္ ။

18) Around and about = ဟိုနား ဒီနား ( ဘယ္ေနရာဆိုတာ တိတိက်က် မေျပာလိုတဲ႕အခါ )

မင္းဘယ္ေနရာေရာက္ေနတာလဲ ၊ ဒီမွာ စိတ္ပူေနတယ္
"Oh, around and about, you know."
အိုး! သိတယ္မဟုတ္လား ၊ ဟိုနားဒီနားေလးပါ ။

19) Hide and seek = တူတူပုန္းတမ္းကစားတာ ၊ ပစၥည္းဖြက္တမ္းကစားတာ
"Let’s play hide and seek with the TV remote control! "
TV remote ကို ဖြက္တမ္းရွာတမ္း ကစားရေအာင္ !

20) Wine and dine = ညစာ ၊ ၀ိုင္အရက္စတဲ႔ တန္ဘိုးၾကီး အစားအေသာက္ေတြနဲ႕ ဧည္႕ခံေကြ်းေမြးတာ ( ၀ိုင္မပါလည္း သုံးတာပါပဲ )
"He's well-known for wining and dining his business partners."
သူက စီပြားေရးမိတ္ေဆြေတြကို ေကြ်းေမြးဧည္႕ခံတတ္တာမွာ လူသိမ်ားတယ္ ။

21) Bread and butter = ပင္မအလုပ္ ၊ အသက္ေမြး၀မ္းေက်ာင္းအလုပ္ ၊ ထမင္းရွင္ ၊

ေကာလိပ္မွာ စာသင္ေပးတာက သူ႔ရဲ႕ ပင္မ အလုပ္ပါ ။

23) Up and running = တက္တက္ၾကြၾကြ ေကာင္းေကာင္းမြန္မြန္နဲ႔ လုပ္ေဆာင္ေနတာ ၊ သက္၀င္လွဳပ္ရွားတာ
"The new company is now up and running."
ကုမၸဏီ အသစ္က အခု တက္တက္ၾကြၾကြနဲ႔ လုပ္ေဆာင္ေနတယ္

24) Done and dusted = ေအာင္ျမင္စြာလုပ္ေဆာင္ျပီးဆုံးသြားတာ

ေနာက္တစ္ပတ္ မကုန္ဆုံးခင္မွာ ေဆြးေႏြးညွိနွိဳင္းမွဳ ေအာင္ျမင္စြာျပီးဆုံးသြားလိမ္႔မယ္လို႔ က်ေနာ္တို႕ ေမွ်ာ္လင္႔ပါတယ္ ။
