to keep house : အိမ္မႈကိစၥ ေဆာင္ရြက္သည္။

ဒီ နက္ကတိုင္က ဘယ္အက်ႌနဲ႔မွ လံုးဝ မလုိက္ဖက္ဘူး (အဆင္မေျပဘူး)။
- She wants to buy a purse to go with her new shoes.
သူ(မ)ကရွဴးဖိနပ္ အသစ္နဲ႔ လိုက္ဖက္တဲ့ ပိုက္ဆံအိတ္ တစ္အိတ္ ဝယ္ခ်င္တယ္။

to go with : တြဲသည္။ (ေယာကၤ်ားပ်ဳိ ႏွင့္ မိန္းမပ်ိဳ)

to make good time : ျမန္ျမန္ ဆန္ဆန္ ခရီးသြားသည္။
- I make very good time on our trip to Florida.
ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ဖေလာ္ရီဒါကို ျမန္ျမန္ဆန္ဆန္ပဲ ခရီးထြက္ခဲ့တယ္။
- It rained all the time and so we did not make good time driving to New York.
မိုးက တစ္ခ်ိန္လံုးရြာေနတယ္၊ ဒါေၾကာင့္မို႔လို႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ နယူးေယာက္ကို ျမန္ျမန္ဆန္ဆန္ မေမာငး္ႏိုင္ေတာ့ဘူး။

to get rid of : ရွင္းလင္း၊ သုတ္သင္၊ ဖယ္ရွားသည္။
- We can’t see to get rid of the mice in our apartment.
ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ တိုက္ခန္းမွာ ၾကြက္ေတြ ရွင္းဖို႔ မေတြ႔ရေတာ့ဘူး။
- When I get into the room, he gets rid of the stool on the way.

by heart : အလြတ္ က်က္မွတ္သည္။ အာဂံုေဆာင္သည္။

သူက ရွိတ္စပီယား ျပဇာတ္ထဲက စာပိုဒ္ ေတာ္ေတာ္မ်ားမ်ားကို အလြတ္က်က္ထားတယ္။
